I’m Kash Rajagopal and you’re on Pins and Needles. “Pins and Needles” is a reference to the posts we pin up online (tech) and the needles you find in hospitals (healthcare). This is a tech and healthcare newsletter — dedicated to exploring investment themes, startup trends, and macro drivers underpinning subsectors within these industries. The title works on another level as well - hopefully, these are incisive posts containing sharp recommendations for readers - be it target companies or question-based roadmaps to continue learning about sub-topics from industry players.
Why healthcare and tech? These are sectors in which I evaluated a number of investments in the private equity industry over the course of a few years, and I enjoy keeping up to date with the latest and greatest trends in these areas.
I’ll include a monthly post starting 2021 that investors and business builders would find intriguing and helpful as they look to make sense of where to allocate capital.
